Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing product I bought this product for my family last week with high expectations. However, it was disappointingly bad. I have bought Stouffers products for years and have been pleased until now. The cheese on the top did not melt and the sauce tasted like tomato paste with no seasoning.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not cheese enchiladas These are not true cheese enchiladas. These are rice and bean enchiladas. True cheese enchiladas are usually filled with three different Mexican cheeses. These are simply vegetarian enchiladas.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad flavor I bought the party size cheese enchiladas at the store and was looking forward to having them for supper. When cooked the required 75 minutes and rested we were disappointed with the flavor. It was terrible!!!! Stouffer's usually has such tasty products. I live in San Antonio and enchiladas here are mostly delicious. I tasted small areas of the enchilada entree and narrowed it down to the "enchilada sauce" It had a "raw" bad taste to it. Stouffer's should try buying this product themselves and comparing it to successful Mexican restaurants in San Antonio. In short I cannot understand where they got this recipe.

Looks and tastes dry, had no indication on face of box that it contained beans...and it's just nothing at all like a soft, gooey cheese enchilada.. And the two people that rated it high must work for the company..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No....... *sigh* .....where to start.....This was not good. I like black beans, but these felt weird, and did not taste good. The enchiladas taste as if they are filled with some sort of paste, not any kind of cheese. I'm disappointed that I heated my oven for such a lengthy amount of time for this. My kiddo decided to eat a Lunchable instead....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick, easy and delicious! These enchiladas are really tasty! I don't see where all of the negative reviews are coming from. I cooked it exactly as directed and they turned out great. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so the cheese enchiladas are a great alternative to cooking from scratch. Giving this a bad review because it has black beans in it and you don't like black beans is just unfair. And if yours turned out "inedible" you should probably learn how to use your oven. Really quick and easy meal for a weeknight. We will be getting it again!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Black beans were bad addition I loved the ones that were pictured- But the recent change in recipe with the added black beans, and the chicken having less red sauce is gross. The beans have a very bad, chemical taste that permeates, even after the beans have been picked out. If the recipe went back, or had an option that did not have beans, I'd get way more of them, and give it ten stars. But now, I'm just taking the time to make them from scratch.
