Sodium

Per the FDA, the maximum daily recommended intake of sodium for adults and children 4 years and olderis 2300 mg per day.

The sodium in this product is a combination of sodium naturally occuring in the foods/ingredients and the sodium from salt used to impact the taste.

The daily intake of sodium for adults and children 4 and older can be found in approximately 1 tablespoon of salt (i.e., sodium chloride). Read the nutrition information on your food labels to help you stay within your limits.

This meal delivers less than 500 mg of sodiumper serving, which is less than 1/4 of your maximum recommended daily intake. Read the nutrition information on your labels to help you stay within your limits.

According to MyPlate.gov, sodium is an essential nutrient needed in small amounts. It is important for many body processes, including muscle contraction.  That said, most Americans exceed the recommended limits for sodium in the diet, and sodium is a nutrient to get less of.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs more flavor. Size is pretty good, but severely lacking in any taste for the price point.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst thing from Stouffers I love most Stouffers products. I decided to try this today and was very disappointed. Threw most of it away as hot sauce couldn't even help the taste.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nasty I bought these and the chicken/chipotle burritos yesterday looking forward to a quick meal from Stouffer’s. I cooked one of each as instructed. I took 2 bites of each and almost vomited. These truly are the nastiest “food” I have ever purchased from the frozen section. I cut the rest into small pieces with a steak knife and up hem outside for the raccoons. I’m curious to see if they’ll even touch them! I am so disappointed in Stouffers! I have eaten their products for almost 40 years and have never come across anything so disgusting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this healthy twist! Couldn't recommend this burrito enough! I'm a southwestern flavored enthusias, so this is my go-to for a healthier twist on a burrito. It's filling, has a good amount of protein and healthier ingredients (quinoa) and is wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla (smart carb component). I definitely buy these every week at the grocery store for my two WFH days. Personally, I'm an "all in moderation" kind of gal when it comes to nutrition and find that eating what I enjoy with a healthier twist goes a long way in terms of sustainability. That being said, if you have a strict mentality on what is "healthy" (chicken, broccoli, etc.)-- then this probably won't be your cup of tea... but if you're moderate, then go for it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A Real Disappointment The burrito was ezpensive and had very little taste. I expected more from Stouffers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not sure what the other reviewers are eating. Purchased on sale, always leery about frozen burritos as usually warm up like cardboard or a paper plate. This one is slightly spicy, very filling and big size compared to other name brands. I like the 25 grams of protein, the flavor is good, and I used some salsa as I like my burritos more on the hot side. I'll definitely buy again and tried both types Stouffer puts out. Equally liked both.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ew.... This is a tasteless lump of fiber. I had to double check to be sure I was not eating the box it came in....
