Rated 2 out of 5 by Jane from What happened to the sauce? I have been eating Stouffer's since I was in elementary school. My family loved the Swedish Meatballs, Spinache Souffle and Welsh Rarebit. But chicken pot pie was always my favorite. I ate it during college and as a working woman, it was my go-to dinner after working all day. But they have changed the recipe and sadly the delicious gravy is no longer creamy and tasty. "New and Improved" is usually a company's way of saying they are going with cheaper ingredients. That change means Stouffer's lost a 30 year devoted customer. Please go back to the old recipe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jz23 from Does a good job for a frozen pot pie. I absolutely love pot pies. If it was easier, I'd make them myself all the time, but it's not. I've gone through all the different frozen pot pies at the stores around me, and Stouffers has the best one. I already love stouffers so of course their pot pie was my favorite. The chicken is the best quality I've found, much more edible than Marie Calanders. And I like the ample veggies. I can agree though that the pie being able to slide out intact is important and should be addressed, I miss eating a pot pie from something other than the container it cooks in.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rhonda from Disappointment don't buy it The sauce has a nice flavor and texture, but I spit out several pieces of chicken that were grisly and inedible. I stopped eating and threw it out. It's a shame. Stouffers has some good food but this isn't one of them.

I did not see any celery, which was depicted on the cover of the box. The peas and carrots were tasty, but in a tasteless sauce. Some of the chicken had gristle on it, which I did not enjoy. Top crust 'sunk in', but was good. Bottom crust stuck to the pie pan it came in (I baked per directions on box) and had to scrape it out...it was gloppy. Not my favorite and will not be purchasing again. Sad, because I like most Stouffers products..

Rated 2 out of 5 by Qsams from What's with the crust. I switched from Marie Callender's because its chicken is like rubber but I prefer its crust. The Swanson crust sticks to the container. I bake in oven on baking sheet for stated time at stated temperature but the side and bottom crust completely sticks to the container. I've checked my oven temp and it's right on. I even lowered the temp and baked until internal temp was correct and that didn't do any good. I love crust on my pot pie and not just top crust. Guess it's time to give them up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Will no longer buy these I've been eating Stouffer's Chicken Pot Pies for years, but for a while now the product has been sub-standard. The crust no longer crisps up, it's just soggy, the chicken is gristly or like plastic, and the gravy is now thin. I just tried one again today and the crust was so soggy and limp and the gravy so thin that it was completely unappetizing and I threw it out. I gave the product several second chances over the last year or so, but am finally giving up, will no longer buy it.
