Rated 1 out of 5 by Former pizza lover from recipe change horrible What happened to the only frozen pizza I buy.I've been a Stouffers Pizza purchaser for 40 years the new pizza recipe taste terrible! the tomato paste is strong and bitter hardly any cheese and the French bread is soft gummy, chewy, and sticks to the roof of my mouth when cooked to directions the crust is brown and top was soggy. The French bread was flat, chewy, and crips for around 5 min, came back for more and it was soft. What happened to the pizza I loved. So I looked it up and similar complaints. Stoffers reconsider. The other 3 boxes went into the trash, money wasted and left disappointed. Bitter, strong, chewy pizza equals nolonger a customer

Rated 3 out of 5 by jimretmarine from Too Much Bread As an American of Sicilian heritage...and from Chicago, the home of Deep Dish Pizza, I'm no fan of French Bread Pizza fad. As a person raised on National Poll rated #1 Vito and Nicks' Pizza from my old neighborhood on the southwest side of Chicago; I can tell you that most Chicagoans eat "thin crust pizza, cut into squares, instead of pie-like slice, except at pizza-by-the-slice restaurants. The best part of pizza is from the toppings. Crust gives you something that hods it all together, so you don't get too messy when you're stuffing your face. As a diabetic, I'm not going to cut down so much on the flavorful pizza toppings; but, I will cut down on other carbs like excess crust.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Goose from Wow! What happened? As they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Thought I'd introduce my kids to my favorite meal as a kid. After all the hype, (from me), they were really looking forward to dinner. It was a total fail. Edges so hard, (baked in the oven), that it made my youngest son's mouth bleed! The sausage had an odd taste, the tomato sauce was bitter, and there was barely any cheese to speak of. We ended up having grilled cheese for dinner. Too bad I spent good money on what ended up in the trash. What a disappointment!

Rated 2 out of 5 by RcCollins from Not Like The Good Old Days as a loyal consumer of stouffers products for over 30 years i must say the french bread pizza is just not what it used to be.. was always my favorite but think they've changed the recipe? the outer bread gets crispy very quickly but is nowhere near done elsewhere.. the cheese didn't seem to melt correctly and the meat seemed to be low quality and tasted a bit off? i will continue with many of stouffers delicious options however the classic french bread pizza needs some work before ill be back for more..

Rated 5 out of 5 by Enchntress from LOVED this pizza!! However, I can't even FIND the Pepperoni & Sausage French Bread Pizza anymore - anywhere?!? I've tried getting just the pepperoni or deluxe but it tastes WAY different and not in a pleasant way. The Sauce tastes strangly sour, rock hard on the outside while gummy on the inside and barely any cheese to speak of. What in the heck has happened? And WHY can't I find any store that sells this variety, unless I want to drive 196 miles to get it?!?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sunny45 from Bad sausage taste My favorite frozen pizza for over 20 years no longer tastes like I remember. The 3 meat and sausage and pepperoni were my faves. Now, the sausage in particular always tastes bad and made me sick twice. Just yesterday, I cooked a 3 meat one according to directions, in the stove, and it was terrible. Crunchy, but the toppings and sauce are not what I remember. I threw my other box away. Won't be buying this product anymore...sadly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jimmysulls from What happened??? One of my favorite foods since probably the 70s. Not anymore. They are nowhere near as good as they used to be, and not even good at all. I wish they would go back to what they once were so I go back to eating them once a week or more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by skpy from Used to be a favorite, but.... Realy love the crunchy bread, the ease of preparing the meal. It used to be a favorite but then they changed the recipe and started adding a bit too much garlic. But, for all the garlic fans out there, enjoy!
