Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty awesome, actually... I bought two of these today, this one and one other, and I wanted to say, really, thank you for a really awesome product. I've been trying to lose calories, and trying to stay healthy, but at every turn, I run into problems. I'm always hungry later, or I have no energy, or the food is nearly inedible. But this tastes great, I didn't need a snack, and was fine to exercise. In addition, other healthy choices as they are called tend to be really packed with cholesterol and other really bad negative things, but these meals are very fair, without sacrificing taste. I really cannot recommend these enough, especially for the price. So thank you, whoever came up with this. You are appreciated, and I finally feel like I have a fighting chance to keep healthy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Macros I was super excited when I found this at the grocery store because it has the best macros I've ever seen on a microwave lunch. I often buy lean cuisines to take to the office, which taste great, but they're small and you're luck if you get more than 10 g protein, making it difficult to reach my daily protein goal. The Fit Kitchen roasted chicken had a greater volume of food and a significant amount of meat which was outstanding! The combo of potatoes and broccoli was good too. However, the brown sauce was a bit of a let down, it was just sort of salty brown gravy. "Savory wine sauce" doesn't seem like a precise description. I will definitely buy this again because of the macros but I'll also throw some cajan spice or something on top to mask the saltiness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good portion, good protein Wanted to try the new 'FitKitchen' line from Stouffer's since I am a diabetic and most prepared meals have a very high carb/sugar profile and not much protein. This is a good attempt, but falls flat as there is no real flavor to the meal. It would be nice to have some citrus zest, or rosemary, sage, tarragon, any real spice. The oven roasted chicken isn't one that would have been cooked in my oven as I use spices, onions, and garlic and a lot less sodium than is in this meal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Chicken with potatoes and broccoli I bought this because I had a coupon and wanted a quick, reasonably healthy dinner on the fly. I love stouffers family frozen dinners, so I figured, what the heck. First, portion provided is huge. The whole package is one serving. For a nuked dinner, it was pretty darn good. Chicken was a bit chewy, but that's the microwave. Much lower salt than other frozen dinners and not swimming in gravy. Ate with a large serving of extra veggies, was very filling. Will buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome I picked up one of these to try being as it seemed like a healthier option than other microwaveable dinners. I normally try to just eat fresh foods but there are days that I'm not up for cooking, and on those days this provides a good alternative to just picking up something quick and not-so-healthy. The sodium is a little higher than I'd like, even compared to some other "healthy" TV dinners, but it's not that unreasonable considering it is a frozen dinner and I eliminate as much sodium from my diet as possible anyway, so once in a while is no big deal for me personally. However, if sodium is something you're closely monitoring and you're going to try one of these meals, I believe this one is the one with the least amount of sodium. I noticed people saying it's bland, but I actually enjoyed it. My chicken wasn't chewy, the broccoli tasted more fresh than what I'd expect for frozen vegetables, and the potatoes turned out fine. I didn't particularly care for the sauce, so I just didn't mix it too much. It wasn't bad, just not something I personally cared for. The meal didn't have a funky aftertaste, the consistency of everything turned out well, and the serving size was generous. I'm definitely going to pick up more the next time I go grocery shopping, and I'm looking forward to trying the other meals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better taste AND nutrition! It always confused me why "healthy" frozen meals were so packed with carbs, and not even tasty enough to be worth it. At first glance, I had big hopes for the oven roasted chicken fit kitchen meal- and I wasn't disappointed! It tastes great, it's loaded with real protein and vegetables like I crave from a good nutritious meal, and I'm sitting here- only 250 calories later, feeling as if I just ate a three course meal! You can't beat a meal that fills you up for so few calories. I'll definitely be buying again.
