Rated 3 out of 5 by SayNotoBacon from Not a bacon fan!!! I bought this yesterday and decided to eat it today for lunch. I guess I didn't read the ingredients well enough because I didn't realize it had bacon in it. Without bacon it would be great. I put sour cream on top to try and drown out the bacon flavor and eat around the pieces but it didn't work. Oh well. This is creamy and cheesy so if you like that and bacon it would be the perfect dish for you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by volgirl07 from Would have been awesome, but bacon ruins it The taste of the potatoes, abundance creamy cheese, and crunch of topping are excellent and I was excited when I dug in, thinking this was one of the best frozen meals I'd had of any brand. Then.... I bit into a rubbery disgusting piece of pork. They call it bacon but it was like eating pork fat. It had a distinct pork, smoky flavor that didn't add at all to the dish, it actually took away from the flavor. I kept eating thinking maybe I got a bad bit but the additional pork pieces were equally disgusting. I actually gagged from a couple of them before giving up. PLEASE TAKE OUT THE PORK!!! If this was a classic potato and cheese dish I would buy again otherwise, no more for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by kevin from i just want the bacon removed this is my favorite thing - i normally hit the store and remove them all.....it is awesome how the dish gets crusted on edges with right microwave....my weaker microwave doesn't do this right. and it awesome to see it sizzling when fresh out of microwave....more crumple on top....or maybe inside??

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bobbokess from Goes well with any dinner I keep several boxes of Cheddar Potato Bake in the freezer. When my wife and I are looking for a starch for our dinner meal we reach for one of these boxes. We can easily heat it in the microwave right after the meat has been cooked. It is ready in minutes and still hot with the other hot items of meat and vegetables. The taste is excellent with the crunchy cheese on top. And sometimes we cook additional potatoes and mix them with the Cheddar Potato Bake. The great taste is still there and we have almost doubled the volume. We always stock up when they are on sale.
